Windows 10 end of support

Windows 10 is no longer supported. Why that matters for your security and compliance, and how to plan the move to Windows 11.

Update, 30 September 2026: Windows 10 reached end of support on 14 October 2025, so it no longer receives free security updates. Microsoft’s paid Extended Security Updates cover only a limited period, so treat them as a stopgap. If you still run Windows 10, the advice below applies now.

The clock is ticking for Windows 10, with its official end-of-support date set for October 2025

While this may seem like a distant deadline, businesses should be preparing their next steps. We can guide you through the move and keep your IT and telecommunications secure and up to date.

Continuing to use an unsupported operating system carries real risk. Without regular security updates, your systems become more and more exposed to new cyber threats. Many industries now require up-to-date IT infrastructure for regulatory compliance. Older platforms can also stop your team using modern productivity tools.

Why Windows 11?

Windows 11 has better security and performance, more options for flexible working, updated applications and built-in collaboration tools.

Putting off the upgrade puts your security and efficiency at risk, and planning early avoids a rushed migration.
