Nearly 30 years of reliable telephony for MGL Group
MGL Group's last Odyssey phone system served it for over 20 years. It chose Odyssey again for a hosted Mitel system across every location.
The challenge
MGL Group, the demolition contractor that cleared Castlegate Shopping Centre and the Swallow Hotel for Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Waterfront redevelopment, needed to replace a phone system that had served it for over 20 years, without disrupting a business that runs on the phone.
What Odyssey did
Odyssey's in-house engineers installed a fully hosted Mitel system across all MGL Group locations as a single group-wide solution, with physical desk phones and softphones so staff can be reached wherever they are working.
The result
The migration completed with zero downtime and not a single lost call. MGL now runs one communications system across the group and expects it to last as long as the one it replaced.
