Mobile phones and SIM cards
Mobile phones and SIM plans for your team, chosen around how they actually use them, with the devices set up, enrolled in management and supported by the team that already looks after your phones and IT.
Who it is for
Businesses in Teesside and the North East with staff who spend the day away from a desk: engineers, drivers, sales people, site managers, directors. Also any business running a mix of personal phones, expense claims and a consumer contract someone signed years ago, where nobody knows who has which number or what the bill is for.
What you get
One business mobile account instead of a drawer of contracts: plans sized to how each person uses data and calls, handsets supplied set up and enrolled in device management before they are handed over, numbers that belong to the business and follow the role rather than the person, and faults, replacements and plan changes handled by the same service desk that answers your office phones within three rings.
The problem
Business mobiles usually grow one contract at a time. Nobody is sure who holds which number, the bill is a surprise every month, and a lost phone takes the work email with it.
The first mobile was the director's, on a consumer deal. The next five were whatever the shop offered that month. Now there are a dozen contracts with three networks, a leaver whose number was printed on his business cards, two people paying for data they never use and one who runs out every month. When a phone goes missing, the first question is who it is with and the second is what is on it.
A business mobile account puts the numbers, the plans and the handsets under one agreement that the business controls. Plans are chosen around how each person works: a driver needs calls and maps, a surveyor needs data for drawings, a director needs roaming. Handsets arrive set up, with email, Teams and your applications installed and the device enrolled in management, so company data can be wiped if it is lost and removed when someone leaves.
The mobiles also tie into the office phones. On hosted voice and Mitel systems the same extension rings a desk phone, a laptop and the mobile app, calls go out showing the business number, and a customer who rings a salesperson's mobile is ringing the business, not a personal phone that leaves with them.

How it is delivered
-
Review what you have
Every contract, number and handset, who holds each, how they use it and when each contract ends, so the move is planned around end dates rather than paying twice.

A plan per role rather than per person, pooled data where it saves money, and a handset list agreed for the jobs people do, from a rugged phone for the yard to a standard one for the office.
-
Port the numbers and set up the handsets
Existing numbers ported into the business account on agreed dates, handsets set up with email, Teams, your applications and the hosted voice app, and enrolled in management before they are handed over.
-
Hand over and brief
Phones handed to staff ready to use, with a short briefing on what is on them, how to report a lost phone and who to call.
-
Run the account
New starters, leavers, plan changes and replacements through the service desk, the number following the role, and the bill in one place.

Questions people ask
Can we keep our existing mobile numbers?
Yes. Mobile numbers are ported into the business account from your current networks on agreed dates, so customers keep ringing the numbers they know, and the numbers then belong to the business rather than to the person.
How do you choose the right plan?
By role. We look at how each person uses calls, data and roaming today, and match a plan to the job, with pooled data across the account where that saves money, and we review it when the usage changes.
Do the phones arrive ready to use?
Yes. Each handset is set up with email, Teams, your applications and the hosted voice app where you use it, and enrolled in device management, before it reaches the member of staff.
What happens if a phone is lost or stolen?
Call our service desk and a person answers within three rings. The phone is locked and the company data wiped remotely, the SIM is barred and a replacement is arranged, and the number stays with the business.
What happens when someone leaves?
The number and the phone stay with the business. Company data is wiped from the device, the number is reassigned to the role or parked, and the plan is changed or cancelled, all through the service desk on the day.
Can the mobile ring with our office number?
Yes. On hosted voice and Mitel systems the mobile app rings as the person's extension and calls go out showing the business number, so customers never need a personal mobile number.
Can you supply SIMs for devices, not just people?
Yes. Data SIMs for tablets, 4G and 5G routers, vehicle trackers and card terminals sit on the same account, managed and billed with the rest.
Who do we call about the bill or a fault?
Our service desk in Stockton-on-Tees, the same team that looks after your office phones and IT, answered within three rings by a person rather than a network's call centre.
